We always love having Mary and the kids visit. And this time, for the first time in YEARS, Marco was able to come too. It was great! For one, Mary is liberal with her gelato allowance so my kids LOVE her. But, more importantly, she is always up for letting my kids tag along on day trips. The first day they were here, she took Finn along for a full-day tour of the Museum of Science & Industry. Always a hit, even though it is exhausting. And the next day, Finn and the girls got to walk around downtown and check out the Water Tower and Navy Pier before I got off work and we all did the night time architectural tour. It was so neat to see the buildings light up while enjoying the boat ride. Can't wait until they come back new year!
