Finny has a visit from Grandma

Finny had another good week this week. We took a hilarious picture of him in just his diapes helping us load the dishwasher as well as some pictures of him in his cute railroad pj's from Grandma Kline and his Gap hoodie. Then on Friday Grandma Manning came in for a visit. We went out for Mexican that night and afterward Finny showed her all his toys including his favorite drum and drum stick. Saturday, Grandma came to our Gymboree class with us. Sunday was cold and snowy and Finny had a cold, so we all just stayed inside in our pjs and cuddled our sick little man. To keep him entertained, Grandma showed him the many wonders of her cell phone including the speaker phone option and gave him some grapes.

Finny is 10 Months Old!

Finny turned 10 months old this week. He has 2 teeth, is working on feeding himself and using a sippy cup, and has stood on his own several times. I think by next month we might have a first step to report.

Funny Finn and the Park

Funny Finn story of the week. We put Finn down for a nap this afternoon and after letting him cry it out for 15 minutes, we went back in to check on him. Turned out he'd taken a BIG number 2. So after cleaning him up and rocking him for a bit, we put him back down. Another 15 minutes goes by with more crying and we go back in to check again. He had taken off his pants and was standing in his crib waving them at us and crying. He's never taken off his pants before, so we aren't sure what got into him. Our only thought was that he was planning on smacking us with them when we finally came back into the room. Too funny!

Finn got a new big boy stroller this weekend, so we decided to take it for a stroll down to the park.

Mae's Birthday Party

This weekend Finn and I went to his buddy Mae's 2nd birthday party. We has so much fun! It was held at Merry Music Makers and so the party included a music session filled with Mae's favorite songs. Finn had a great time listening to the songs, doing the motions, and playing with the instruments. Below is a photo of Mae blowing out the candles on her awesome guitar cake and a picture of Finnegan keeping the beat with some bells. Finn has so much fun at the party that the next day he and his dad had to catch some extra z's.
