Finn Turns Five Months in Indy

This last weekend Joe, Finn and I went down to Indianapolis to visit with Grandma Manning and the Magids. It was a fun trip! We got in late Friday, and stayed up for a couple more hours chatting, playing with Finn and drinking some wine. Saturday, we took Finn's five month pictures with a disposable camera I picked up at Walgreens. Seems in our rush to leave, we forgot our digital one. So that explains the picture quality. Still I think we got some cute ones of Finn, his sign and Leo's pumpkin. And the one of Finn and Grandma is adorable, if I do say so myself! Then we watched Nebraska play some football (hence all the Magid boys in their jerseys) before going out to Indian for dinner. We finished off the night watching the OSU, Penn State game. Sunday right before we left Leo started jumping around like a crazy man and cracking Finn up. It was hilarious. I would have loved to have that on video. Oh well, I'm sure Leo can get him laughing next time we visit. Anyway, a great weekend was had by all. Thanks again for hosting, Julie and Terry!

I'm a Penguin!

Finn got to don his Halloween costume a bit early this year. Lincoln Park had a "pumpkins in the park" event on Saturday and encouraged people to bring their kids out in costume for trick or treating, pumpkin painting, races and other fun activities. So Finn met up with his friend Hasan, Tigger, to take part in the activities. They both looked adorable!

The T-Shirt Speaks Truth & Tickle Monster

This weekend we took pictures of Mr. Finn in a shirt with a saying that very much rings true. Thanks Melanie! Then, Finn has started to laugh when we tickle him and as his dad puts it, "it's the sweetest sound in the whole world". Seriously, getting him to laugh before bath each night pretty much gets me through my work day. So I had to share. Enjoy!

Finnegan's Wierdly Flexible

Another fun and busy weekend for the Kline/Manning family. Julie and Terry stayed at our pad Friday night and left to enjoy their anniversary weekend in the city after brunch Saturday. I wish I could post pictures from that visit, but they brought too much good wine to share and, hence, no pictures were taken. So instead, I thought I would share Finn's new obsession...sucking on his toes. Yes, he can actually bring his whole foot to his mouth and put his toes in. Its really wierd, and he does it non-stop...especially in the bath. On the bright side, maybe he'll be a really talented gymnast and get a scholarship to the expensive university he's supporting in the second and third pictures. Go Irish!
