Christmas Eve with the Mannings

After a couple of crazy weeks for Joe and I working and trying to prepare for Christmas topped off by a drive to Ohio on December 23rd through a winter ice storm, the Manning/Kline family got to spend a wonderfully relaxing Christmas Eve at Aunt Monna and Uncle Jim's house (thanks again for hosting!). Finn had a good time hanging with his cousins and enjoyed opening his presents. But his favorite part was when all the other kids went to bed and he was allowed to stay up until MIDNIGHT being the center of attention. He's such a ham! Here are a few pics from the fun night.

Finn in his stylin' Christmas Eve outfit.

Finn getting his Kettler trike from his aunts and uncles. Awesome gift! Can't wait to see him triking around Lincoln Park this spring!

While Finn couldn't ride his trike that night, he had lots of fun sitting on the box and watching his cousins open gifts.

In all the commotion, I didn't manage to capture great pics of all the cousins with their toys, but here are Izzy and Zia looking adorable in their new princess outfits.

For the last few years, Grandma has gotten her youngest grandkids comfy pjs for Christmas. Then at the end of the night, all the kids change in to their new jammies and we take a group pic. While I didn't get comfy pjs for Christmas, I'm in the group photo as Finn needed a bit of encouragement in the form of his momma to entice him to cooperate for the picture.

This is my favorite pic of the night. Finn, Xavier and Izzy all sportin' the same cute reindeer pjs.
