Enjoying a bit of nice weather in mid-April

This winter was brutal.  So when we finally got a decent weekend, we spent every sunlit minute outside.  To keep the kids interested, we hit up multiple parks.

Starting out on Friday at a park we have dubbed John's Place Park for its proximity to one of our favorite local restaurants, John's Place.  

Saturday we started out downtown at Montgomery Ward Park (actual name).  No pics of the actual park, but we also spent some time in the grass down by the Chicago river.

Later that afternoon, we hit up Oz Park.

Then we went home and walked to Que Rico to end the day off right with a margarita for us parents.  Days like these are what get me through Chicago winters.
