We celebrated my birthday over Martin Luther King weekend by taking a road trip to visit the Canos in Pittsburgh. We hadn't seen them since our Michigan vacation in August, and yet it was like no time had elapsed at all. The kids immediately went to the attic playroom and spent the majority of the first day there playing with Magna-Tiles, legos and costumes. Sunday afternoon we all went to the Carnegie Science Center and had a blast checking out the exhibits. We also managed a double
date night out at a local brewery. It was a really cold weekend, so we spent most of the time just hanging out in Jonathan and Lourdes' new house. But it was a perfect opportunity to catch up. Can't wait to go back in the summer and take advantage of their awesome deck and backyard!
