For the second year in a row, Gigi and Papa have spent Valentine's Day weekend with us in Chicago. Finny was THRILLED to have his grandparents in town. The weekend started off with the opening of Finn's Valentine's gifts. He made out! He got a big blue ball and some books from his parents, an Elmo phone from Gigi and Papa (which he loves), and some new awesome books from Grandma Manning. Since Finny will read up to a dozen books at a time, it is great to get some variety. Then Sunday after a yummy brunch, we headed to the Children's Museum to let Finn run off a bit of energy. He had a great time and afterward we were all tired enough to come home and take a nice long nap. That night Finn got some alone time with his Grandparents, while dad and I enjoyed a nice Italian meal and then went to see the Blind Side (which I recommend). When we came home around midnight, we found Mr. Finn passed out between his Grandparents on the fold out bed. It was too cute.

Making the tough choice of whether to play with the ball or the Elmo phone first.

Already enjoying the Richard Scary books sent by Grandma Manning.

And Finn's favorite part of the Children's Museum - putting play food in the big oven.
