Last Day of School fun

School let our early on the last day.  So the plan was for the 1st grade kiddos to meet at a park, but it was raining.  So we moved our fun to a bowling alley.  The kids had a blast.

But they were mostly interested in playing with their friend from school, Oscar.

And then, thankfully, the rain stopped in time for us to have our annual camping night with the Boxer family.  This time we changed the venue to Morton arboretum.

The kids had a blast in the children's garden.

They got to catch and release tadpoles.

And make some crafts before ending the night with smores and a night hike.

Such a nice kick off to summer!
