We said goodbye to 2013 with the Thomas family. First, the kids stayed with a babysitter and ate pizza while Molly, Lyle, Michelle, Greg, Molly Hogue, Clarkson and I enjoyed a nice dinner. Unfortunately, Joe had to work until about 8 so he only got to enjoy the after-dinner festivities. He still had fun though as Molly invited another family over so the kids could play while we drank some wine/beer and talked. The kids rang in 2014 drinking sparkling grape juice and watching the ball drop. Then the littles all went to bed while Joe and I schooled Molly and Lyle in euchre until about 2 in the morning. Our 2014 was off to a good start!
