I can't remember a better Christmas season. This was the first year Finn really got the build up to Christmas and he was SO EXCITED! We would light our Advent wreath every night at dinner and he would BEG me to just light the rest of the candles so that it would be Christmas already. He was tortured by having to go out on multiple occasions to buy presents for other people and was SURE that he wasn't getting any in return. Plus he had to watch his ps and qs because Gorky was reporting back to Santa each night on his behavior. But finally, after all the waiting, it was Christmas Eve and it was all worth it. Finn ran around with his cousins for hours only slowing down to occasionally open a gift. The girls loved the attention from their aunts and uncles. And mom and dad were in heaven seeing their kids so happy! I'm already counting the days down until next Christmas when the girls will be excited about it all too!
My beautiful kids!
Finn and his cousins spent the afternoon playing in Maura and Ed's basement. I literally didn't see him for several hours. He LOVES hanging out with the big kids.
We had a fabulous dinner thanks in large part to our hosts.
And finally after dinner the kids were allowed to start opening presents. It was total chaos, but in a good way.
Finny's aunts and uncles got him an astronaut jacket and a camera for Christmas. Now that's a happy boy!

I think all the kids made out like bandits!
Grandma still gets the little ones cozy pajamas for Christmas every year. They all look so cute and cuddly!
Merry Christmas kiddos!
