Thanksgiving and Lots of Visitors

This week was busy for Mr. Finn. The fun started on Sunday when Molly, Xavier and Isabelle arrived and we all went to the park. Finn LOVED having his cousins to hang out with during the day while mom and dad worked and they visited the park frequently in the afternoons after the Thomases got back from their trips to The Shedd and the Children's Museum. The kids also got to hang out with a babysitter one night while Molly, Joe and I enjoyed a nice dinner and some wine. Then Wednesday night we all headed to the Magid's for the Thanksgiving feast. Finny did great playing with sixteen of his cousins during the day and housing some serious turkey that night (well it was a lot by Finny standards). Thanks Julie and Terry for all the good cooking! Then Friday when we headed back to Chicago, Vicki, Mike, Gillian and Iris came too. Friday night we just went to the park and made dinner. Saturday, though, we all headed to The Shedd to see some fish. Finn did better at the dolphin show this time. He still got scared and needed lots of cuddles when the dolphins jumped out of the tank, but he made it through the whole thing! And this visit he also learned that the sea lions say "arf" "arf" and imitates them quite frequently now. The visit to the Shedd is the only time mom pulled out the camera this entire week, but here are a couple cute pictures of the Frost family in front of the entrance and Finn playing in the "polar play area" with the penguins and their eggs. The Frost's visit came to an end with the girls making a visit to The American Girl Doll store. Vicki, Gil, Iris and I had brunch in their adorable cafe and Gillian and Iris picked out their Christmas presents. It was a blast. And Finny is keeping his fingers crossed you all come back to play very soon!
