First Birthday Party!

We all survived the first year, and so a party was in order!  Gigi and Papa graciously offered to host and a good time was had by all.  We started off at the Richland Carousel.  As most of the cousins remember this carousel from Finn's 1st birthday party, they were stoked.  Finn is also old enough now to really enjoy it.  As for the birthday girls, Lourdes was fairly excited to take a horsey ride whereas Sabine wasn't so sure about the whole thing.  After the carousel, we went back to Gigi and Papa's house for lunch and cake.  The bigger kids had a blast playing outside near the creek on the big rock.  Even Jillian got into it, which obviously worried her mom as she already had one broken arm and didn't need another one!  The cakes were beautiful and delicious, but the girls weren't into eating them.  Lourdes just poked at hers a bit, while Sabine utterly destroyed hers.  Then after opening a lot of great presents, the girls were exhausted and needed a nap.  All in all I think they enjoyed their party, and I know they will enjoy it even more next year!
