Only two weeks into the craziness that is balancing work with 3 kids under 3, Joe informed me that there was a good chance he would have to work all weekend and leave me to handle the three by myself. Well what could I do, but call in backup. Thankfully Gigi and Papa were more than happy to come out and play with the kiddies. When they arrived on Friday, they took advantage of the nice weather and took Finny to the zoo to see the animals and take a carousel ride. That night we celebrated Gigi's birthday with dinner from Lincoln Park Noodle Company and a yummy carrot cake. Finn was in heaven! Saturday, we all took the kiddies to soccer and Gymboree. And on Sunday, Papa and Gigi gave Dad and I time to run some errands with the twins while they took Finn to the Museum of Science & Industry for the whole afternoon! He was so worn out that he didn't even wake up when they carried him in and laid him on the couch. It was a great weekend for the kids and it turns out that Dad was even able to enjoy a bit of it too. Here are some cute moments captured by Gigi.
