Matthew's Birthday Playdate

About a month after Finny's birthday, his amigo Matthew turned two. So we had Matthew and the third amigo, Mia, over for a birthday play date. Matthew, Mia and Finn have been friends since they started music class together when they were 6-10 weeks old. They still go to class every Wednesday together, but now it is a tumbling class. And they are just great buds. So here is a look at some of the fun they had celebrating Matthew's big day.

Since Finn was an old pro at this birthday thing, he helped Matthew blow out the candle on his birthday muffin. Yes, I'm that mom who got apple muffins, fruit and yogurt for the kids instead of cupcakes.

Matthew and Finny LOVE each others toys and are pretty good about sharing. In this picture, Finn is playing with Matthew's sweet airplane while Matthew takes a turn with one of Finny's trains. It is not unusual after these play dates for me to come home only to find that Finny has conveniently "forgotten" to give Matthew back one of his toys. Thankfully Matthew does the same so it all evens out.
